Student Athlete Advisory Committee

The athletic department’s Athletic Service Board (ASB) is comprised of at least two student-athletes from each varsity sport. This committee was established to give student-athletes a voice and representation in the decision-making of Furman athletics. ASB firmly believes that cooperation and support amongst athletes from all sports are vital to the success of the athletic department. Through student-athlete reps, ASB promotes the communication between members of all athletic teams and the leaders of the athletic department, the university, the Southern Conference, and the NCAA. The Athletic Service Board serves as Furman’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee to the Southern Conference and the NCAA.
